i dont know what its called, but dont you shoot footage of someone doing something, (like walking thru the door) then go over the film and draw the figures to make an ultra realistick scene?
i want to do something like that, do you have any tips?

No tips really, that's pretty much it. Film the footage, put it in Flash then trace over every singe frame.

i ask the authers---
a couple things bothers me, i mean how thing are not things in the film...
any way, i wanted to know how the authers animated the characters. i can tell that it might be stop animation, but then its to smothly moving to be that. then how did they keep the characters movinf when the back grounds move?
another thing is i urgently urge the authers to make more films like this!!
I speak for both authers when I say thanks you! You're right, it is stop-motion animation. We just made sure the movements were as smooth as possible, since the point is to make it look like life. I'm not sure what you meant about the backgrounds, but basically we would sometimes move the camera the same way we would move a character: little by little by little. And if you do it at the same time, that gives you a moving character and a moving camera shot!
